Growing up in North Vancouver Canada, I was encouraged by teachers to study art, but chose for a time instead to pursue music. While living in Kamloops B.C. in the mid 1990s, I returned to my childhood love of painting after years spent exploring music and fiber arts. Self taught, I developed my technique while living in Ontario, and began showing my work.
